Our nurse practitioners and physician assistants have a direct line to physicians and are licensed to prescribe medications. And we offer a wide range of amenities to ensure that patients receive the highest level of comfort and care during treatment.

At MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute at Bel Air, we understand that cancer care involves more than treatment. Our team offers support services designed to help patients and families navigate the physical, emotional, financial, and practical needs that may arise during care. Services may include genetic counseling, oncology social work, cancer rehabilitation, nutrition counseling, financial assistance, home care, integrative therapy, psychosocial and pastoral counseling, tobacco cessation resources, support groups, and survivorship support.
