The 2026 Bennathan Patient Safety Lecture
Building a Longevity Ready Health System: Leveraging Quality, Emerging Breakthroughs, and Equity to Design Better Aging Experiences
Wednesday, March 11
Program begins at 6:30 p.m.
Named in honor of the late professor Esra Bennathan, Emeritus Professor of Political Economy, University of Bristol UK, the Bennathan Patient Safety Lecture will continue a tradition of learning, teaching, and sharing, all of which were woven into the fabric of his life.
This year’s lecture features keynote speaker, Ken Dychtwald, PhD, founder and CEO of Age Wave and widely viewed as America’s most visionary thought leader on the longevity revolution, in an exploration of how increasing longevity will dramatically transform every dimension of health, medicine and healthcare. Dr. Dychtwald will highlight the profound demographic shifts underway, the emerging desires of older adults, and the innovations required to support longer, healthier lives. Drawing on decades of research on aging and longevity, Dr. Dychtwald offers clear insights into how health systems can prepare for a future defined by unprecedented lifespan expansion and a reimagining of what it means to grow older.
