Keeping players at the top of their game.
For 10 seasons, the Baltimore Orioles have trusted MedStar Health as their medical team. From spring training to the final pitch, our experts provide the care that helps Orioles players perform at their best—and that care extends to fans and our community, too.
Here's to another season with the Orioles

Safety behind the scenes
From on-field emergencies through Major League Baseball protocols, our team ensures that the O’s are prepared for any situation. MedStar Health leads annual Emergency Action Planning sessions with Orioles staff, stadium security, and EMS partners to keep players and fans safe.
Caring for the team in Sarasota
Our care for the Orioles starts long before Opening Day. At spring training in Sarasota, Dr. Kelly Ryan and our medical team conduct physicals, support player conditioning, and ensure everyone is ready for the season ahead.
Meet our baby birds
MedStar Health and the Baltimore Orioles are welcoming a new group of fans into the nest. Each baby born at one of our hospitals in Maryland receives a complimentary Baby Bird kit that includes a bib, onesie, and beanie–the perfect gear for any “rookie of the year!”
