-
What should I expect during my first visit?
During your first session, a licensed therapist (often a Certified Hand Therapist or CHT) will review your medical/injury history, assess motion, strength, sensation, function, and discuss your goals. Based on the evaluation, a personalized rehab plan will be created — which may include splinting, exercises, pain/edema management, and functional retraining.
-
How many sessions will I need and how long might each session last?
The number of sessions and length depend on your specific condition, goals, and progress. Some patients complete therapy in fewer visits; others—especially those recovering from surgery or returning to sport—may need more frequent and/or longer sessions. We will monitor your progress and adjust your plan accordingly.
