Amy Will is the Executive Director and Scientific Center Administrator of Women and Children’s Research for MedStar Health Research Institute where she leads the strategic direction, growth, and overall portfolio of research focused on improving health outcomes for women and children. In this role, she drives new opportunities for sponsored research, fosters institutional and external partnerships, and elevates the visibility and impact of MedStar Health’s work in this critical area.
As Executive Director and Scientific Center Administrator, Amy serves as the central leader connecting researchers and clinicians with the infrastructure, resources, and support needed to advance high-quality research.
Amy began her career with MedStar Health in 2013 as a research assistant with the Human Factors team. Over the past decade, she has held progressively senior roles, including her most recent leadership in Healthcare Delivery Research, where she supported initiatives in Health Equity, Implementation Science, and Diagnostic System Safety amongst others.
Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Hispanic Studies from East Carolina University and is currently pursuing her Masters in Business Administration at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
