Suman Singh, MBBS, MPH, CCRC, is the associate director of cardiovascular clinical trials for MedStar Health Research Institute at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the recruitment, enrollment, monitoring, and compliance processes that are crucial for advancing cardiovascular research.
Dr. Singh joined MedStar Health in 2004 as a Clinical Research Coordinator and has since progressed through several leadership roles, including Assistant Manager, Peripheral Team Lead, and Manager of Clinical Trials. Throughout her career, she has established herself as a key liaison between industry sponsors and internal collaborators within the health system. Her strategic vision and innovative approach have been essential in expanding MedStar Health’s capabilities in cardiovascular research, improving trial capacity, streamlining enrollment processes, and enhancing important clinical research initiatives.
Dr. Singh earned her medical degree from Lady Hardinge Medical College in India and holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a focus on Epidemiology and International Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).
