Lewei Zhao, PhD

Dr. Lewei Zhao is currently a Clinical Physicist . He received his PhD in applied and computational mathematics from Wayne State University in 2019. From 2019 to 2023, he was a postdoctoral student at Beaumont Proton Therapy Center. During his postdoc, he was taking a medical physics certificate in Wayne State University from 2021 to 2022. Before being a medical physicist, he had Medical Physics Residency at Stanford University in 2023-2025. He has served as Associate Editor for Medical Physics Journal since 2024. His research interest is mathematical applications in medical physics.
