Dr. Michael Ramirez graduated Summa Cum Laude with his B.S. in Biology from Loyola University Maryland followed by his M.D., Magna Cum Laude, from The Georgetown University School of Medicine. During medical school he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and awarded the Donald M. Knowlan, M.D. Award in Internal Medicine as well as the William P. Argy, M.D. Award in clinical teaching. Dr. Ramirez then stayed in DC to complete his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, graduating as a member of the Michael Adams M.D. Clinician Educator Track. In 2024, Dr. Ramirez joined the faculty at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital Internal Medicine, and then took on the role of Associate Program Director for Ambulatory Education in June of 2025. He enjoys working together with learners and trainees of all levels.
