About me
Te-feng Arthur Chou, MD, is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon who practices at MedStar Health. He specializes in sports medicine and joint preservation, offering minimally invasive procedures to repair damage to the knee, shoulder, and elbow. Dr. Chou advocates for joint preservation as an option for patients who are not yet ideal candidates for total joint replacement.
Working at MedStar Health gives Dr. Chou an opportunity to provide care for patients while also pursing his passion for research, teaching, and innovation in orthopedics.
Having experienced injuries and six sports-related surgeries, Dr. Chou offers a unique personal perspective as he treats patients. Additionally, he has lived and trained internationally, giving him a deep understanding of diverse people and cultures. Dr. Chou speaks both English and Mandarin.
