About me
Samantha Matuella, MD is an attending psychiatrist on the 5W inpatient psychiatry unit, as well as in the adult outpatient clinic with an emphasis on Women’s Mental Health. Dr. Matuella received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia with a BA in Neuroscience and Biology. She completed her medical degree at the George Washington University. She then joined our department as a general psychiatry resident in 2018 and served as the Education Chief during her PGY-4 year. As a resident, she completed subspecialized training in Women’s Mental Health.
