About me
Dr. Harvey earned his medical degree from the University of Edenburgh in Scotland and now specializes in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery. Dr. John Harvey lightheartedly said "Most people don't know that I am actually from England. They can't place the accent maybe some of the Scottish accent crept in when I went to University." Before joining Shah Associates, John completed his residency in General Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center in New York and his fellowship at Englewood Hospital in Vascular Surgery in New Jersey. What he enjoys most about medicine is helping a wide variety of patients overcome diverse problems. In his spare time, Dr. Harvey enjoys collecting unusual items, playing tennis, listening to music and reading about cars.
