About me
Jennifer Haagensen, DO, MS, is a neurologist who practices at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. With a specialized clinical interest in the diagnosis and treatment of adults with epilepsy, Dr. Haagensen is a critical resource for patients who are cared for on the hospital’s neurology unit.
Dr. Haagensen earned a medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She went on to pursue a medical internship at Drexel University School of Medicine at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, and then relocated to Baltimore to continue her post-graduate training. She completed an adult neurology residency and two additional years of fellowship trained dedicated to the study of epilepsy.
During her time in training and in practice, Dr. Haagensen has published a series of peer-reviewed publications and abstracts. She is a member of the American Epilepsy Society, the American Academy of Neurology, and the American Osteopathic Association.
