About me
As a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner specializing in bariatric care, Jasmine Booth, CRNP, provides comprehensive follow-up care and support for patients after they have undergone surgical weight loss procedures at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. She works with each patient to develop a personalized plan of care in line with their long-term weight loss goals. Jasmine is also available to address any post-operative complications and concerns that patients present with, in the days and weeks following surgery.
Jasmine typically begins working with patients at their six-week post-operative appointment and provides ongoing care through regular follow-up consultations during the first year, post-surgery. After that, she typically sees patients once a year to provide ongoing monitoring and support. Jasmine is committed to patient education and guides patients on how to appropriately and safely make lifestyle modifications, which are essential for successful weight loss and sustainability. She collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary team of clinical experts, including dieticians, to ensure continued, coordinated care for patients.
Jasmine joined MedStar Health in 2022. Previously, she worked at CoreLife, which specializes in non-surgical weight loss strategies.
