About me
Dr. Fred Mo is a professor of orthopedic surgery and spine specialist serving the community of Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland. He attended Tufts University, where he received his medical degree, and completed his residency at Yale University. He then completed his fellowship in Spine Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery.
Dr. Mo is a part of Georgetown University Hospital Orthopedics and is affiliated with MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He is also board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Before joining MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, Dr. Mo served as a lieutenant commander in the United States Navy as an attending spine surgeon.
Dr. Mo is devoted to ensuring the longevity of his patients' health and developing long-lasting relationships with them. He takes his time to understand symptoms and give correct diagnoses to ensure the continued health of all his patients.
