Frank Dawson MD, is a fellowship-trained sports medicine physician, specializing in sports related injuries. Dr. Dawson attended the University of Maryland, where he received his medical degree, and also completed his fellowship. He did a residency at Miami Children's Hospital.
Dr. Dawson is a part of MedStar Orthopaedics Institute. He sees patients at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. During his consultations, Dr. Dawson clearly explains sports injuries and helps athletes choose a personalized treatment plan for a full recovery.
Dr. Dawson is an associate team physician for the Baltimore Ravens, a team physician for Morgan State University, a sports medicine consultant for Baltimore City Public School System, and a member of Baltimore County Public School System's Head Injury Committee. His clinical expertise includes sports medicine, sports injuries, fracture care and concussion care.
