About me
Carrie Rutledge MSN, CNM received her Master's degree in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in December of 2019. Prior to pursuing her passion for Midwifery, Carrie worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse for over 20 years. She specializes in low-risk pregnancy and birth. She also provides evidenced based care to women across the lifespan focusing on contraceptive counseling and preventative care.
Carrie has lived in the Southern Maryland area since 1986 when her father retired from the Air Force. She is passionate about womens health and is grateful to be able to serve her community. Carrie has 6 siblings and she has over 30 nieces and nephews. She and her husband of 28 years have five children and love spending their down time kayaking, camping or just spending time together.
