About me
Anusha Vittal, MD, MBBS, specializes in general gastroenterology and hepatologic care for patients diagnosed with metabolic and autoimmune disorders, as well as a wide range of other chronic diseases that require comprehensive clinical management. She also provides esophageal dilation and other upper endoscopy cases, as well as colonoscopy screenings. Dr. Vittal sees adult patients (age 18+).
In addition to providing comprehensive clinical care, Dr. Vittal makes patient education a key priority in her day-to-day work. She believes it is important for patients to understand their diagnoses, recommended testing, and available treatment options, so that each can make informed decisions about their best course of action and plan of care. Dr. Vittal is committed to supporting patients as they learn how to manage chronic health conditions, long-term.
Dr. Vittal’s primary location is at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital. She also schedules patient appointments at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital, and performs endoscopic procedures at the MedStar Endoscopy Center in Lutherville.
