Sarah Bacik is a seasoned healthcare strategist with more than 25 years of experience leading systemwide strategy and strategic growth initiatives, including partnerships, large-scale acquisitions, regulatory navigation, and healthcare facility planning.
Currently, Bacik is vice president of Strategy & Activation at MedStar Health, leading the Strategic Planning team while collaborating across the system to develop and operationalize enterprise strategic and operational plans. She specializes in translating strategic vision into actionable plans that advance growth strategies designed to position the organization to meet the evolving needs of patients and communities.
Before joining MedStar Health, Bacik served as chief strategy officer at MUSC Health in Charleston, South Carolina.
She holds a Master of Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Saint Louis University.
